About

Savannah Rain grew up in the Pacific Northwest, her first inspiration being the wilderness she grew up around. She attended Waldorf schools through eighth grade where her love for painting began. After continuing her art education through college in San Luis Obispo, CA, Savannah moved to Hawaii, where she began working seasonally as a professional henna artist. This allowed her to begin her travels. For the past six years she has been discovering the world, traveling to Japan, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Bali, Singapore, Fiji, Italy, Austria, and Spain. This soul journey provided life experience where she gained a wider perspective of the world. The knowledge gained and the relationships she formed has shaped her into the person she is today. Working as a henna artist has allowed her to truly see the way in which art can affect and enhance people's lives, and has found a deep love and appreciation in being able to send her art out into the world.

In 2017, Savannah was inspired to take her art to a new level, and follow her passion for painting. She went to study in Vienna, Austria, at the Vienna Academy of Visionary Art. There she was able to fine-tune her painting skills, studying under Autumn Sky, Olga Klimova, Rebecca Yanovskaya, and Oleg Koralev. She learned many new techniques while also learning how to transfer her visions onto canvas. Painting at her first festival in Austria, she discovered the magic of live painting, how the energy around her could transfer onto the canvas. Since then she has continued to live paint at events throughout the states, and finds it to be such a valuable way for art to reach a multitude of people. Being in front of a canvas has become her place to share and express her visions to the world.

“Throughout my travels I have experienced so much immense beauty and riches that this planet has to offer us.  Alongside that beauty I have witnessed much hardship, and suffering. Our planet yearns for our attention and love at this critical moment in time.  I believe art has the power to create change, to inspire, and to heal.

Art is my way of sharing the deep connection I have with the universe. By bringing that connection into a visual form, I hope to shed light throughout the world and to bring peace, and healing to my viewers and to the planet.”
